• Erectile Dysfuntion

Silagra 50 Mg Tablet is used for the treatment of impotence; where achieving and sustaining an erection is a problem while having sexual intercourse. However, Silagra 50 Mg will work only if there is sexual stimulation.

• Pulmonary arterial hypertension

Silagra 50 Mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure of arteries present in the lungs and right side of the heart. Silagra 50 Mg also improves exercise capacity in such patients.

• allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue

• changes in hearing

How To Take Silagra 50 Mg

Take this Silagra 50 Mg medicine orally accompanied by a glass of water. The dose should be taken 1 hour prior to planned sexual activity as per recommandation. Silagra medicine should never be taken more often than once per day. You should never take this Silagra medication more often than directed.

Avoid Drug While Taking Silagra 50 Mg

• Allergy

Silagra 50 Mg Tablet is not recommended for use if you have a history of allergy to sildenafil or any other component of this Silagra medicine.

• Nitrate containing medicines

This Silagra 50 Mg medication is not recommended if you are using any medicine containing   nitrates.

• Riociguat

Silagra 50 Mg Tablet is not prescribed for use if you are consuming a medicine named Riociguat.

General Interaction

Inhibitors of CYP3A4 such as cimetidine and erythromycin are likely to reduce sildenafil clearance. CYP3A4 inducers such as rifampicin may decrease the plasma concentrations of sildenafil. Symptomatic hypotension when used with α-blockers. Plasma concentrations are increased by ritonavir.

What Are Dosage Instruction Of Silagra 50 Mg

The usual starting dose of Sildenafil is 50 Mg once daily. lt should be taken before 30-40 minutes of intercourse. Depending on effectiveness and tolerance; the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 Mg or decreased to 25 Mg. The maximum dosing frequency is once per day.

Some factors are associated with increased plasma levels of sildenafil: age>65, hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment and concomitant use of ketoconazole, itraconazole, Erythromycin. Since higher plasma levels may increase both the efficacy and incidence of adverse events, a starting dose of 25 Mg should be considered in these patients.

• Alcohol = Silagra 50 Mg Tablet is not recommended for use if you have a history of allergy to sildenafil or any other component of this Silagra 50 Mg medicine.
• Pregnancy = This Silagra medicine is not recommended for consumption by pregnant women unless clearly needed. Consult a doctor and discuss the benefits and risks before taking this Silagra 50 Mg medicine.

Important Precaution

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken other medicines, including medicines obtained without prescription. Sildenafil tablets may interfere with some medicines, especially those used to treat chest pain.
