Aprecap 125 Mg
Aprecap 125 Mg Injection is an antiemetic. It is used after chemotherapy or after surgery to prevent vomiting and feelings of nausea. It functions by blocking the substances in the brain that cause nausea and vomiting. It can be used in combination with other medications.
On using Aprecap 125 Mg medication you may experience side effects such as headache, constipation, chest pain, dizziness, fatigue, heartburn, reduced appetite, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, mental/mood disorders, breathlessness, hives, sore throat, skin rash, swelling of facial features, fever, trouble breathing or swallowing. If reactions persist or become worse over time seek medical help as soon as possible.
Avoid using this medication if you are allergic to any ingredient contained within Aprecap 125 Mg Injection. Before using this medication tell your doctor if: you have nausea or vomiting, you are allergic to any food or medicine or substance, you are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs, you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are nursing a baby.
The usual adult dose for treating nausea or vomiting post cancer treatment medication is Aprecap 125 Mg an hour after chemo on the first day and 80 Mg orally for the next two days in the morning. Uses
Aprecap 125 Mg are used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy and are used as combination therapy with other mediations for both highly and moderately emetogenic (vomiting inducing) chemotherapy.
Chemotherapy is the use of cytotoxic drugs to kill cancer cells, which grow more rapidly than most normal cells, and nausea and vomiting are common side effects of chemotherapy.
Drugs used for chemotherapy stimulate the vomiting reflex that is triggered in the brain. Aprecap 125 Mg block the vomiting reflex and prevent nausea and vomiting induced by these drugs.
