Valzaar 40 Mg is essentially a combination drug which is used in the treatment of hypertension. The drug is prescribed to patients who have already experienced a heart attack. It control blood sugar levels in the body and relaxes the heart, thus reducing the risk of another attack.

Valzaar 40 Mg should not be taken by people who are allergic to any component it has. Pregnant women, and children with renal disease are also discourage from taking Valzaar 40 Mg.

How To Take

Take Valzaar 40 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Valzaar 40 Mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Warning

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney or liver disease, poor blood circulation, sugar, dehydration, angioedema, any allergy, who are taking other medications, children, during breast-feeding.

It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.

Avoid alcohol consumption.

Patient may develop with increased risk of angioedema (severe allergic reaction) with the following symptoms: swelling of the hands, face, lips, eyes, throat, or tongue, difficulty in swallowing or breathing and hoarseness. If it is so consult with your doctor.

It may cause dehydration, vomiting, excessive sweating or diarrhea; if you experience with any of these symptoms consult with your doctor.

Monitor blood pressure, blood electrolyte levels and heart, kidney or liver function regularly while taking this medication.

Uses

Valzaar 40 Mg is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and other heart complications. Proper diet and exercise should be followed along with the treatment to get the best possible result. Do not take this medicine if you have a known allergy to it. This medicine should not be given to children under 6 years of age.
