Ciplar LA 40 Mg is a drug that is called a beta-blocker. It is used to treat irregular heartbeats, high blood pressure, excessive migraines, chest pain from angina, anxiety and to prevent heart attacks.

Ciplar LA 40 Mg is a beta-blocking agent that attaches itself to the heart, and inhibits the regular molecules from triggering the receptors. It blocks the beta-adrenergic receptors in the heart, thus slowing your heartbeat down and lowering the blood pressure. This lowers the stress placed on your heart, arteries, veins and blood vessels, decreasing the workload of the heart. In this way, it is effective in lowering blood pressure preventing a heart attack.

How To Take

Take Ciplar LA 40 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ciplar LA 40 Mg is to be taken empty stomach.

Avoid Ciplar LA 40 Mg with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart, lung, liver or kidney disease, poor blood circulation, breathing problems, sugar, low blood sugar, overactive thyroid, increased eye pressure, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, or vision changes, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
