SyndopaPlus Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s-like symptoms which are associated with some other diseases. These may include shakiness, stiffness, and slowness of movement. These symptoms are usually caused by a lack of dopamine, a natural substance present in the brain.

Its active ingredients include Carbidopa and Levodopa. SyndopaPlus Tablethelps increase dopamine levels in brain which in turn reduces the above mentioned symptoms.

It is advisable to inform the doctor about current medication (vitamins and herbal supplements), health conditions like pregnancy or possible surgeries and allergies. SyndopaPlus Tabletis not recommended for pregnant or lactating women. It should also be avoided by patients suffering from severe liver and kidney aliments and for patients less than 18 years of age.

How To Take

Take SyndopaPlus Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. SyndopaPlus Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Avoid SyndopaPlus Tablet with high protein meals such as cottage cheese, Swiss cheese, protein powder, eggs and milk.

This may cause you to fall asleep during your day-to-day activities. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery while taking this medicine.

SyndopaPlus Tablet should be used with caution due to the increased risk of impulsive or compulsive behaviors. These may include an intense urge to gamble, binge eat, or spend money. Close monitoring of the patients for any change in behavior and mood is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Any unusual symptoms should be reported to the doctor on priority. Uses

SyndopaPlus Tablet is used to treat symptoms of Parkinson’s disease or Parkinson-like symptoms (such as shakiness, stiffness, difficulty moving). Parkinson’s disease is thought to be caused by too little of a naturally occurring substance (dopamine) in the brain.

Levodopa changes into dopamine in the brain, helping to control movement. Carbidopa prevents the breakdown of levodopa in the bloodstream so more levodopa can enter the brain. Carbidopa can also reduce some of levodopa’s side effects such as nausea and vomiting.
