Syndopa 275 Mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s-like symptoms which are associated with some other diseases. These may include shakiness, stiffness, and slowness of movement. These symptoms are usually caused by a lack of dopamine, a natural substance present in the brain.
levodopa is indicated in the treatment of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease (Paralysis Agitans), postencephalitic parkinsonism, symptomatic parkinsonism which may follow injury to the nervous system by carbon monoxide intoxication, and manganese intoxication. It is indicated in those elderly patients believed to develop parkinsonism in association with cerebral arteriosclerosis.

Uses
Syndopa 275 Mg Tablet is used to treat symptoms of Parkinson’s disease or Parkinson-like symptoms (such as shakiness, stiffness, difficulty moving). Parkinson’s disease is thought to be caused by too little of a naturally occurring substance (dopamine) in the brain.
Levodopa changes into dopamine in the brain, helping to control movement. Carbidopa prevents the breakdown of levodopa in the bloodstream so more levodopa can enter the brain. Carbidopa can also reduce some of levodopa’s side effects such as nausea and vomiting.
