Pilocar Eye Drops
Pilocar Eye Drops is a cholinergic agonist used for the treatment of abnormal dryness of the mouth (xerostomia) in patients undergoing radiotherapy for head and neck cancer and in patients with Sjogren’s syndrome, a condition that affects the immune system and causes dryness of mouth and eyes.
The drug increases the production of sweat and saliva; therefore it is very important to remain hydrated throughout the day. There are some usual side effects which may include headaches, nausea, slight dizziness, increased urination, chills, runny nose, cough and mucous congestion, some joint and muscle pain. The serious side effects which need medical attention are, change of voice, trouble in swallowing, swelling of joints, shortness of breath and change in heartbeat.

How to take
Take Pilocar Eye Drops in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
