Zaha Eye Drop
Zaha Eye Drop is an antibiotic used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by a variety of susceptible bacteria. Zaha Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 1 year of age.
Azithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat different types of infections caused by a variety of bacteria. Zaha Eye Drop has the advantage of once-daily dosing. Zaha Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in case of common cold, flu or viral infection since Zaha Eye Drop is active against infections caused by bacteria only. It belongs to a group of Macrolide Antibiotics useful for treating numerous infections caused by bacteria like middle ear infections, traveler’s diarrhoea. Along with other medications it is sometimes used for curing malaria. Zaha Eye Drop is also used to treat a number of intestinal infections and sexually transmitted infections.

How to take
Take Zaha Eye Drop in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Breast-feeding –Zaha Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using it medicine. If the medicine is used, close monitoring of the infant for any undesired side effects is advised.
Drug resistance – Usage of Zaha Eye Drop medicine without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection should be avoided. Irrational dosing might fail in providing the benefits and even cause toxicity. Zaha Eye Drop may also increase the risk of development of bacteria that are drug resistant.
Use in pediatrics – Zaha Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 1 year of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
