Moisol Eye Drop
Moisol Eye Drop is a synthetic polymer used as an eye drop. It is used for the treatment of dry eyes. It is also used to relieve irritated eyes.Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, the main ingredient of Moisol Eye Drops, is used in the form of eye drops as well as eye gels as an ocular lubricant for the treatment of dry eyes. It is also used in the form of injection as a surgical aid during certain eye surgeries.
The dosage for Moisol Eye Drop medication should be determined by the doctor based on your age, overall medical history and current condition. The usual dose in both adults and children for treating dry eyes is 1 drop in each eye around three-four times a day. Moisol Eye Drop medication should be handled with clean hands.

How to take
Take Moisol Eye Drop in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Blurred vision
Decrease/loss of vision

Warning
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
Uses
The ophthalmic form of Moisol Eye Drop medicine is used in the treatment of dry eyes.These may be caused by infrequent blinking; environmental conditions; medical conditions such as blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids), rheumatoid arthritis, thyroid problems, etc.
The injectable form of Moisol Eye Drop medicine is used as a surgical aid during eye surgeries such as cataract extraction, lens implantation, etc. to prevent damage to the cornea, to facilitate the ease of operating, as well as to reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
