Travatan Eye Drop is a prostaglandin F2-alpha analog that is used for the treatment of increased fluid pressure inside the eye (intraocular hypertension) and open-angle glaucoma, a progressive condition that may eventually lead to vision loss. Travatan Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 16 years of age.

On using Travacom Eye Drop you may experience certain side-effects such as blurred vision, burning sensation of the eyes, drying of the eyes, headache, chest pain, mood swings, nausea, depression, seizures, night blindness, hair loss, swelling, difficulty in breathing, fever, irregular heartbeat, tiredness, loss of memory and a constant feeling of general illness.

Drug =Timolol+Travoprost

Strength = 5 Mg + 40 Mcg

How to take

Take Travatan Eye Drop in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Pregnancy – Travatan Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using Travatan Eye Drop medicine.

Breast-feeding – Travatan Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using Travatan Eye Drop medicine

Contact lens – Travatan Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use if you are wearing soft contact lenses in your eyes. The lens should be removed prior to administration of the eye drops and can be reinserted 15 minutes post administration.
