Monocef 1 Gm Injection
Monocef 1 Gm Injection is used to treat a variety of conditions such as urinary tract infections, infection of the ears, lungs and meningitis caused by bacteria. Monocef 1 Gm Injection should not be used with calcium-containing intravenous solutions.
Monocef 1 Gm Injection can cause some mild side effects and some serious ones as well. Some of them include pain, tenderness, hardness or warmth in the injected area. Some of the serious side effects include stomach cramps, chest pain, painful urination, swelling in legs, difficulty in swallowing food, breathing issues and so on. You must consult the doctor immediately if you experience any of the serious side effects.

Allergy = Monocef 1 Gm Injection medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of allergy to ceftriaxone or Beta-lactam Antibiotics such as penicillins and cephalosporins.
Uses
Monocef 1 Gm Injection is used in the treatment of meningitis, which is an inflammation of the protective membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord. Monocef 1 Gm Injection may be caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae or Neisseria meningitidis.
Monocef 1 Gm Injection is used in the treatment of infections of the urinary tract caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiellapneumoniae.
