T-Bact Ointment is an antibiotic which is used to treat bacterial infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections. T-Bact Ointment is not effective against viral and fungal infections.

T-Bact Ointment is an antibiotic. T-Bact Ointment kills the bacteria that cause skin infections by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for survival of bacteria. Thus, T-Bact Ointment prevents the skin infection from spreading.

Drug = Mupirocin

Strength = 2%

How to take

Use T-Bact Ointment in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Breast-feeding = T-Bact Ointment medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. If the medicine is used, care should be taken that the infant’s skin does not come in contact with the medicine and that the infant does not swallow the medicine. Discuss all the risks and benefits with your doctor before using t T-Bact Ointment medicine.

Eye irritation = Ensure that  T-Bact Ointment  medicine does not come in contact with your eyes. T-Bact Ointment medicine may cause severe eye irritation. In the case of accidental contact, the eyes should be rinsed with water immediately and thoroughly.
