Taxim-O 200 Mg is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. Taxim-O 200 Mg works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it. Taxim-O 200 Mg is used to treat infections such as bronchitis (infection of the air tubes to the lungs), gonorrhea( a sexually transmitted disease) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils etc. Taxim-O 200 Mg doesn’t work for viral infections like flu.

Taxim-O 200 Mg is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of conditions such as urinary tract infections, throat infections and lung infections caused by bacteria. Taxim-O 200 Mg medicine is not recommended for use in case of a common cold, flu or other viral infections since Taxim-O 200 Mg is active against the infections caused by certain bacterial species only. Taxim-O 200 Mg medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 6 months of age.

How to take

Take Taxim-O 200 Mg   medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Taxim-O 200 Mg   may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Taxim-O 200 Mg   at a fixed time.

Pregnancy = Taxim-O 200 Mg medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking Taxim-O 200 Mg medicine.

Breast-feeding = Taxim-O 200 Mg   medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking Taxim-O 200 Mg   medicine. If the medicine is used, close monitoring of the infant for any undesired side effects is necessary.

Clostridium difficile-associated Diarrhea = Antibiotic therapy will cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora of the large intestine, which may promote the growth of bacteria called Clostridium difficile and you may experience severe diarrhea as a result.

Uses

Taxim-O 200 Mg medicine is used in the treatment of infections of the throat and airways leading to lungs, namely tonsillitis and pharyngitis, caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilusinfluenzae, and some fungal infections.

Taxim-O 200 Mg medicine is used in the treatment of urinary tract infections caused by E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and Klebsiellapneumoniae.
