Lan 30 Mg Capsule belongs to a class of medicines called proton pump inhibitors which work by decreasing acid production in the stomach. It effectively controls pH of stomach secretions and acts as an alternate to intravenous pantoprazole in those who cannot swallow solid-dose formulations. It prevents and treats stomach and intestinal ulcers, oesophagitis, and other stomach conditions involving excess acid production such as zollinger-ellison syndrome. It is also used to treat frequent heartburns happening 2 or more times a week.

How To Take

Take Lan 30 Mg  medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lan 30 Mg Capsule is to be taken with food.

Breast-feeding : Lan 30 Mg  medicine is not recommended for use by breastfeeding women as it may cause some harm to the infant. However, if it is absolutely necessary to use this medicine, then breastfeeding should be discontinued. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Liver disease : Report any incidence of liver disease to the doctor. Lan 30 Mg  medicine is not recommended for use if the impairment is severe. For mild to moderate impairment, this medicine can be given with suitable dose adjustment and safety monitoring.

Immune system disorder : Use of Lan 30 Mg  medicine for durations longer than medically recommended can cause skin disorders by affecting the immune system. Report any incidence of skin lesions formation to the doctor while using this medicine.

Vitamin B12 deficiency : Long-term treatment with Lan 30 Mg Capsule may decrease the absorption of Vitamin B-12 in the body. Supplements can be taken after consulting the doctor.

Uses

Lan 30 Mg is used to treat frequent persistent heartburn, gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD; ulcers in the upper part of the intestine (duodenal ulcer) or stomach (gastric ulcer).
