Claribid 250 Mg Tablet is a bactericidal antibiotic used for the treatment of various infections caused by bacteria.Claribid 250 Mg  is also used in a combination with other medicines for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections. Claribid 500 Mg  medicine is not recommended for use in case of a common cold, flu, or other viral infections since Claribid 250 Mg is active against infections caused by bacteria only.

Claribid 250 Mg medicine with or without food, as directed by the doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of Claribid 250 Mg medicine without consulting your doctor.

How to take

Take Claribid 250 Mg medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Claribid 250 Mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Take it with food if you are experiencing stomach upset.

Avoid Claribid 250 Mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Impaired liver function = Claribid 250 Mg medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of an impaired liver function due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

Uses

Claribid 250 Mg medicine is used for the treatment of infections of the throat and airways leading to the lungs, namely tonsillitis and pharyngitis, caused by bacteria such as Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilusinfluenzae, etc. Claribid 250 Mg medicine is used in the treatment of Pneumonia which is a common type of lung infection caused by bacteria such as Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilusinfluenzae, etc.

Claribid 250 Mg medicine is used in the treatment of Otitis Media which is an infection of the middle ear caused by bacteria such as Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilusinfluenzae, etc.
