Ovidac 5000 iu Human chorionic gonadotropin, which is the primary constituent of Ovidac 5000 iu Injection, is obtained from the placental cells of pregnant women and is used to treat infertility in women and men. It is also used to treat delayed puberty issues in children.

Ovidac 5000 iu Injection is a hormone that helps the egg in a woman’s ovary to develop normally. It stimulates the release of an egg during ovulation, treats infertility in women, pituitary gland disorder in young boys, undeveloped sexual traits in girls, and increases sperm count in men. Ovidac 5000 iu Injection is directly injected under the skin or into a muscle.

Pregnancy = Use of Ovidac 5000 iu medicine in pregnant women is not recommended.

Breast-feeding = Use of Ovidac 5000 iu medicine by women who are breastfeeding is not recommended unless absolutely necessary. Special precautions should be taken while taking this medicine and breastfeeding should be discontinued during the course of treatment. Consult your doctor and discuss the risks and benefits before deciding to take this medicine.

Other disease = Report any instances of bleeding or clotting disorders, asthma, and other obstructive diseases, a heart or blood vessel disorder etc. to the doctor. Use of Ovidac 5000 iu medicine may worsen the symptoms of these diseases and hence caution is advised.

Ovidac 5000 iu medicine is used to treat infertility in women who have not undergone menopause but are unable to conceive due to hormonal imbalances in the body. Ovidac 5000 iu medicine is used to treat male infertility caused due to lack of specific hormonal secretion deficit in the body.
