Lupride Depot 11.25 Mg Injection
Lupride Depot 11.25 Mg Injection, also known as leuprolide, is a manufactured version of a hormone called gonadotropin-releasing hormone. It is primarily used to treat hormone-based tumors like in advanced prostate cancer, breast cancer, lymphoma, certain kinds of leukaemia, uterine fibroids, and endometriosis. Apart from these, it is also used to treat early onset of puberty. It is administered through injection into a muscle or under the skin. Prolonged usage leads to substantial decline of testosterone in male and decrease in estradiol in females.

Exclude pregnancy before starting; use nonhormonal contraception during therapy; discontinue if pregnancy occurs. Risk factors for decreased bone mineral density (eg, chronic alcohol, tobacco, anticonvulsants, corticosteroids); consider concomitant norethindrone acetate and supplemental calcium in endometriosis; assess BMD before retreatment. Depression. Missing successive doses may cause breakthrough bleeding or ovulation. Elderly.
Uses
Lupride Depot 11.25 Mg Injection is given by injection (shots) to treat endometriosis. It helps to relieve pain and to reduce the number of lesions (sores) or cysts. It may be used alone or with other medicine.
Lupride Depot 11.25 Mg Injection is also given with iron to treat anemia caused by uterine fibroids. This medicine may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider.
