Lenalid 5 Mg is an immunomodulating agent that affects the working of the immune system to help the bone marrow in making new & normal blood cells & erasing the abnormal cells from the bone marrow. Lenalid 5 Mg affects the immune system. It helps promote immune responses to prevent inflammation in the body.

Lenalid 5 Mg is also used in combination with dexamethasone to treat multiple myeloma (plasma cell cancer) in patients who have received at least one prior therapy. Lenalid 5 Mg is also available in 5 mg & 10 Mg strength.

How To Take

Take Lenalid 5 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lenalid 5 Mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Pregnancy = Lenalid 5 Mg is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the fetus. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation = Lenalid 5 Mg is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving = Do not drive unless you are feeling well. You may feel dizzy, tired, sleepy, have vertigo or blurred vision after taking Lenalid 5 Mg Capsule and this may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney = Lenalid 5 Mg should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lenalid 5 Mg may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Uses

Lenalid 5 Mg is used in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome, a group of blood disorders characterized by immature cells. It is also used in a combination with dexamethasone for the treatment of multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women as well as in patients less than 18 years of age.
