Lipicard 200 Mg is used to decrease high cholesterol and triglycerides levels in the blood. It increases high-density lipoproteins (HDL) which reduce the risk of heart attacks. This medicine should be used with caution in elderly patients. It is not recommended for use in children. Close monitoring of kidney and liver functions is recommended during treatment with this medicine.

How to Take

Take Lipicard 200 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lipicard 200 Mg is to be taken with food.

Lipicard 200 Mg may cause a fatal condition called rhabdomyolysis where the muscles in the body are damaged and which may ultimately result in kidney damage. Close monitoring of liver and kidney function is necessary during treatment with this medicine.

Lipicard 200 Mg is used in the treatment of Severe hypertriglyceridemia for removing the increased amount of triglycerides from the blood.

Lipicard 200 Mg is used in the treatment of Hypercholesterolemia for decreasing the amount of cholesterol in the blood.
