Another form of raltegravir, Isentress 400 MgHD, is approved for adults and children weighing at least 88 lb (40 kg). Isentress 400 Mgis always used in combination with other HIV medicines.

Isentress 400 Mg belongs to a group of HIV drugs called integrase inhibitors. Integrase inhibitors block an HIV enzyme called integrase. By blocking integrase, integrase inhibitors prevent HIV from multiplying and can reduce the amount of HIV in the body.

Isentress 400 Mg is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Isentress 400 Mg may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.Isentress 400 Mgis safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Isentress 400 Mgis recommended.

Isentress 400 Mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Isentress 400 Mg may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Isentress 400 Mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
