Ciplar LA 20 Mg is a medicine used to treat various heart conditions such as hypertension (high blood pressure), angina (heart-related chest pain) and arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythm). It lowers blood pressure and thus decreases the risk of future heart attack.

Ciplar LA 20 Mg is also used in the treatment of various non-heart conditions like anxiety, migraine, tremors and overfunctioning thyroid gland. It also decreases risk of bleeding in the gut caused by high blood pressure in the liver. It should be taken empty stomach for best results. Weakness or tiredness may occur as a common side effect which usually disappears with time. Ciplar LA 20 Mg should not be stopped abruptly and taken strictly as advised by your doctor.

How To Take

Take Ciplar LA 20 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ciplar LA 20 Mg is to be taken empty stomach.

Avoid Ciplar LA 20 Mg with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.

Warning

Are allergic to Propranolol Hydrochloride or to any of the other ingredients of Ciplar LA 20 Mg. Have history of wheezing or asthma.

Have allergic rhinitis.Have pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs, which lead to heart failure).

Have heart problems such as ischaemic heart disease, uncontrolled heart failure, first degree heart block, Prinzmetal’s angina.

Have peripheral arterial circulatory disturbances.Have sensitivity towards allergens.Are prone to chronic bronchitis and emphysema not related to allergies.
