Depin 5 Mg is a short acting medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (heart-related chest pain). It helps to lower high blood pressure and thus reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke. Depin 5 Mg should be used along with a proper diet, salt restriction and regular exercise for best results. It should be taken regularly at a fixed time every day. Depin 5 Mg should not be stopped abruptly. It may cause palpitations, tachycardia (increased heart rate), dizziness and ankle swelling as a side effect. Hence, this medicine should strictly be used as advised by your doctor.

How To Take

Take Depin 5 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Depin 5 Mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Warning

Are allergic to Depin 5 Mg or to any of the other ingredients of Depin 5 Mg.

Have had a heart attack within the last month.

Have unstable angina.

Have been told that you have a narrowing of the aortic heart valve (stenosis).

Have ever had a collapse caused by a heart problem (cardiogenic shock), during which you became breathless, pale and had a cold sweat and dry mouth.

Have malignant hypertension (blood pressure continues to rise).

Have a heart condition where your heart cannot cope with increased strain (poor cardiac reserve).

Are a diabetic.

Are on kidney dialysis.

Have liver problems.

Uses

Depin 5 Mg is used to treat high blood pressure, angina (chest pain) or a condition called Raynaud’s phenomenon which causes discoloration of the fingers and toes.
