Bimat Eye Drop
Bimat Eye Drop is a prostaglandin analog that is used for the treatment of increased fluid pressure inside the eye (intraocular hypertension) and open-angle glaucoma, a progressive condition that may eventually lead to vision loss. The topical ophthalmic form of Bimat Eye Drop medicine is used for the treatment of inadequate amount of eyelashes it increases their length, thickness, and darkness. Bimat Eye Drop medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 16 years of age.
Bimat Eye Drop is used for treating ocular hypertension (by draining fluid from the eye) or increased pressure in the eye and open-angle glaucoma. It comes in the form of eye drops. Bimat Eye Drop medicine should not be used if you are allergic to any ingredient of Bimat Eye Drop drops. Bimat Eye Drop is included in a class of medications called prostaglandin analogs.

How to take
Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Bimat Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Bimat Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
