Aricep 23 Mg Tablet SR is used in the treatment of dementia associated with Alzheimer’s disease. It is not recommended in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding and lung diseases.

Aricep 23 Mg Tablet Sr comes as a tablet and an orally disintegrating tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food, in the evening just before bedtime. Your doctor may prescribe to you a low dose initially to decrease the risk of side effects and gradually increase your dose after 4 to 6 weeks. Your doctor may increase your dose again 3 or more months later. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it.

How to take

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aricep 23 Mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Aricep 23 Mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Aricep 23 Mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. Aricep 23 Mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aricep 23 Mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
