Zyrik 300 Mg
Zyrik 300 Mg Tablet belongs to a class of drugs called xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It is widely used in treatment of gout or kidney stones. It also decreases levels of uric acid in people who are receiving cancer chemotherapy. Allopurinol works by blocking xanthine oxidase which reduces the amount of uric acid made by the body. Increased uric acid levels are the major cause for gout and kidney problems.
You should not take Zyrik 300 Mg Tablet if you are allergic to it. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using this medication. Do not use this medication if you are breast-feeding a baby. To make sure Zyrik 300 Mg Tablet is safe for you to use, tell your doctor if you suffer from kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, or if you are receiving any chemotherapy.

How To Take

Allergic reactions:-Zyrik 300 Mg should be discontinued immediately when allergy symptoms like skin rash, swelling of lips, and face appear.
Hydration:-Drink adequate amount of water (2 liters/day) to increase the urine output and to prevent the formation of kidney stones.
Liver disease:-Zyrik 300 Mg is known to cause liver failure. Obtain baseline of liver function tests before initiation of the treatment. The treatment should be discontinued if any signs of any increase in the liver enzymes appear.
Asymptomatic hyperuricemia:-Zyrik 300 Mg is not recommended for use in the patients with asymptomatic hyperuricemia.
