Hydroquin 200 Mg Tablet is an antimalarial medicine which is used in the treatment and suppression of malaria. It is also used in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. It is not recommended for use in patients with eye diseases. Closemonitoring of blood glucose levels and muscle function is necessary while receiving the medicine.

How To Take

Take Hydroquin 200 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hydroquin 200 Mg is to be taken with food.

Effect on heart:-Hydroquin 200 Mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with heart diseases due to the increase in the risk of irregular heartbeats. Close monitoring of heart function is necessary while receiving this medicine. The treatment should be discontinued if any changes in the heart function appear.

Musculoskeletal effects:-Hydroquin 200 Mg Tablet may cause muscle weakness if used for a long duration of time. Close monitoring of skeletal muscle function and tendon reflexes is necessary while receiving this medicine. The treatment should be discontinued if symptoms of muscle weakness appear.

Effect on kidney:-Hydroquin 200 Mg  Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Close monitoring of kidney function is necessary while receiving this medicine. The dose should be adjusted based on the creatinine clearance.

Effect on liver:-Hydroquin 200 Mg  Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases and alcoholic patients. Inform the doctor about any history of liver disease before taking this medicine. Close monitoring of liver function is necessary while receiving this medicine.
