Zocon 150 Mg is an anti-fungal drug. It is used to prevent and treat infections caused by fungi and yeasts. It acts by stopping the growth and multiplication of these organisms.

How to Take

Take Zocon 150 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zocon 150 Mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Warning

Zocon 150 Mg can make you feel sleepy. Be careful when using any machinery, driving a vehicle, or doing any other activity that needs you to be fully alert. The consumption of alcohol with Zocon 150 Mg can worsen the sleepiness. Zocon 150 Mg may cause rarely seizures in some people. If you perform any activities where a loss of consciousness may cause harm to you (or others), you should discuss with your doctor.

Consult with your doctor on the use of Zocon 150 Mg during pregnancy, or if you are planning to become pregnant. Using high doses of Zocon 150 Mg in women during their first 3 months of pregnancy can cause birth defects among infants. The features seen in the infants were: flat head syndrome (brachycephaly), abnormal facies, abnormal skull development, splits in the roof of the mouth (cleft palate), bow-leggedness (femoral bowing), thin ribs and long bones, birth defect of shortened joint (arthrogryposis), and birth defect of structure of the heart (congenital heart disease). The use of Zocon 150 Mg while breastfeeding should only be when required.

Cautions should be taken while breastfeeding as this medicine passes into breast milk. Consult with your doctor on the use of Zocon 150 Mg, if you are trying to conceive. The patient should be informed about the harmful effects on the unborn baby.
