Canditral 100 Mg Capsule is an antifungal which is used to treat a variety of infections caused by fungi in lungs, mouth, and throat. Take this capsule with food for better absorption.

How to Take

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Canditral 100 Mg Capsule is to be taken with food.

If you are taking oral solution, it should be taken one hour before any food or drink.

Before you start this treatment, read the manufacturer’s printed information leaflet from inside your pack. The manufacturer’s leaflet will give you more information about itraconazole and a full list of side-effects which you may experience from taking it.

Take itraconazole exactly as your doctor tells you to. Your doctor is likely to prescribe one or two capsules (or 10-20 ml of liquid medicine), to be taken once or twice daily. If you are asked to take two doses a day, space the doses out by taking one of the doses in the morning and the other in the evening. The directions will be printed on the label of the pack to remind you what the doctor has said.

Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.

Canditral 100 Mg is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems.

Canditral 100 Mg Capsule is used in the treatment of blastomycosis which is a fungal infection that can affect skin, bones, and joints. The infection is caused by the fungus Blastomyces dermatitidis.

Canditral 100 Mg Capsule is used in the treatment of Histoplasmosis, a fungal infection that can affect the lungs and other parts of the body. The infection is caused by Histoplasma capsulatum.

Canditral 100 Mg Capsule is used in the treatment of Invasive Aspergillosis which is a fungal infection caused by Aspergillus. The infection affects the lungs or the immune system.

Canditral 100 Mg Capsule is used in the treatment of Esophageal Candidiasis which is a fungal infection caused by Candida. It affects the mouth or throat.
