Urimax D Tablet is an alpha blocker that helps to relax the enlarged muscles of an affected prostrate and bladder. It helps to ease out the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) which includes difficulty in urination, increased need to urinate at odd times, and a weak stream.

Drug = Tamsulosin +Dutasteride

Strength = 0.4 Mg + 0.5 Mg

How To Take

Take Urimax D Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Urimax D Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Warning

Alcohol = It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Urimax D Tablet. Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.

Pregnancy = Urimax D Tablet MR is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation = No information is available on the use of Urimax D Tablet MR during lactation. Please consult your doctor.

Driving = Urimax D Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney = Urimax D Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Urimax D Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver= Urimax D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Urimax D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Use of Urimax D Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Urimax D Tablet is used in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia which is a condition in men with prostate gland enlargement.
