Urimax Capsule

Urimax Capsule is an Alpha-adrenoreceptor antagonist which is used in men to decrease the urine outflow resistance due to an enlarged prostate gland. Urimax Capsule should be used with caution as it may lower the blood pressure. It is not recommended in patients with a known history of allergy to tamsulosin and patients with a risk of erectile dysfunction.

How To Take

Take Urimax Capsule in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Urimax Capsule is to be taken with food.

Take Tamsulosin 30-60 minutes after the same meal each day.

Warning

Pregnancy = Urimax Capsule is not recommended for use in pregnant women.

Breast-feeding = Urimax Capsule is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

Hypotension = Urimax Capsule may lower the blood pressure and may cause dizziness, weakness. It is advised to sit or lie down until the symptoms disappear. Inform the doctor if the symptoms worsen.

Cataract surgery = Urimax Capsule is not recommended in patients scheduled for cataract surgery due to the risk of developing Intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome (IFIS).

Uses

Urimax Capsule is used in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia which is a condition in men with prostate gland enlargement.
