Stugeron 25 Mg is a travel sickness tablet containing the active ingredient cinnarizine. Cinnarizine is an antihistamine that reduces symptoms of travel sickness, regardless of the cause.

Stugeron 25 Mg tablets can treat the symptoms of vomiting, nausea, dizziness, vertigo, and ringing in the ear (tinnitus) that is associated with middle ear disorders.

Stugeron 25 Mg tablets contain 15 Mg of the active ingredient cinnarizine. Stugeron 25 Mg is an antihistamine that stops nerve signals from triggering the vomiting centre in the brain. These signals are sent by the vestibular apparatus at the inner ear, and preventing them from reaching the brain suppresses symptoms of travel sickness.

Stugeron 25 Mg vestibular apparatus is sending the brain information on the body’s position. When the head is moving a lot, such as when travelling by car or plane, these signals can trigger the vomiting centre in the brain. Stugeron 25 Mg causes symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, vertigo, or vomiting.

How To Take

Take Stugeron 25 Mg medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stugeron 25 Mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. Consult your doctor and discuss the benefits and risks associated with the use of this medicine.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine is not recommended for use by a breastfeeding woman unless absolutely necessary. Consult your doctor and discuss the benefits and risks associated with the use of this medicine. It is advised to discontinue breastfeeding while the medicine is being taken.

Use of Stugeron 25 Mg medicine may cause lack of interest, low mood, sleep disturbances in some patients. It should be administered with caution in patients with an active/past instance of depression.

Use of Stugeron 25 Mg medicine may cause drowsiness and sleepiness in some patients. Stugeron 25 Mg is advised to not perform any activity requiring a high level of mental alertness while taking this medicine.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine should be used with caution in a patient having a liver disease or impairment of normal liver/kidney function.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine should be used with caution in patients having glaucoma. Report any instance of disturbance in vision, pain or dryness of eyes to the doctor immediately.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine is not recommended for use in children below 5 years of age.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine should be used with caution in the elderly as the risk of adverse effects are significantly high.

Use of high doses of this medicine may cause a fall in blood pressure and hence should be used with caution in patients suffering from hypotension.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine should not be used if you suffer from a genetic disorder causing intolerance to galactose or other sugars.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine is used to prevent and treat sickness and dizziness associated with motion sickness.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine is used to treat vertigo and other symptoms caused by balance and movement problems such as sickness, vomiting, ringing of ears. It is also used to treat similar symptoms of Meniere’s disease.

Stugeron 25 Mg medicine is also sometimes used to treat blood circulation disorders caused due to narrowing of vessels.
