Ovral L Tablet is a combination medicine used for oral contraception (prevention of pregnancy). Ovral L Tablet imedicine is not recommended for use in patients yet to achieve menarche (the first occurrence of menstruation).

Ovral L Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill.Ovral L Tablet works by preventing the release of egg (ovulation) and affecting sperm movement in the womb to prevent its union with the egg. It also changes the lining of the womb and renders it unsuitable for pregnancy.

Ovral L Tablet is natural that some medications and health conditions may interfere with how Ovral L Tablet Tablet works. To avoid any complications provide your health care professional a detailed medical history, including information about any health problems or allergies you have and a list of drugs that you are taking presently.

How To Take

Take Ovral L Tablet medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ovral L Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Uses

Ovral L Tablet is used for the prevention of unwanted pregnancies.

This Ovral L Tablet medicine is used for the emergency prevention of unwanted pregnancies. The Ovral L Tablet should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex; it should be taken at least within 72 to 120 hours after unprotected sex. A second dose should be taken 12 hours after the first dose.
