Minipress XL 5 Mg contains Prazosin Hydrochloride, It works by relaxing the main blood vessels of the heart, allowing the heart to pump blood more easily and thus lowers the pressure.

It also relaxes the muscle around the bladder and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily.

How To Take

Take Minipress XL 5 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Minipress XL 5 Mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Are undergoing eye surgery because of a cataract.

Have prolonged erection of the penis.

Uses

Minipress XL 5 Mg is an antihypertensive medicine which is used to treat high blood pressure and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (prostate enlargement). Minipress XL 5 Mg should be used with caution since it may cause temporary loss of consciousness due to the sudden decrease in blood pressure (syncope). It is not recommended for use in patients under 12 years of age.
