Metaspray Nasal Spray is administered to remedy infections of the skin such as allergies, rash, psoriasis, eczema, etc. by reducing inflammation, redness and swelling. A corticosteroid of medium strength, Metaspray Nasal Spray is available in the form of a lotion, cream and ointment. How To Take

Use Metaspray Nasal Spray in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray away from the cartilage diving the two sides of your nose and toward the sides of your nostril. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat in the other nostril.

Breast-feeding = Use of Metaspray Nasal Spray while breastfeeding is not recommended. However, if it absolutely necessary to use this medicine, then breastfeeding should be discontinued. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Defect in vision = Use of Metaspray Nasal Spray has been sometimes associated with an increase in intraocular pressure and may cause glaucoma or formation of cataract. It should be very carefully administered in patients who have a disease of the eye.

Uses

Metaspray Nasal Spray is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Symptoms may include runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing etc.

Metaspray Nasal Spray is used to treat the symptoms of nasal polyps (swelling of the lining of nasal passage and sinuses).

Metaspray Nasal Spray is used for the prevention of symptoms associated with asthma (caused due to swelling and irritation of the airways leading to the lung). Symptoms may include breathing difficulty, coughing, and tightness of the chest.

Metaspray Nasal Spray is also used to treat the symptoms of allergic skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis etc.
