Flucort-H Cream is a topical corticosteroid used to relieve symptoms of various skin diseases such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, etc. These symptoms may include itching, dryness, redness, scaling, rashes, etc. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 3 months of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

How To Take

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Pregnancy = Flucort-H Cream is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine.

Breast-feeding = Flucort-H Cream is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine. If the medicine is used, close monitoring of the infant for any undesired side effects is advised.

Growth retardation = Flucort-H Cream may cause growth retardation in some children. Therefore, children receiving this medicine should be monitored closely with regard to growth parameters. The dose should be titrated to the minimum effective dose to reduce the chances of such side effects. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition.
