Listril Plus

Listril Plus is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Listril Plus drug is also used in the treatment of congestive heart failure. It can be prescribed to adults and children who are 6 years and above.

Before starting this drug patients should be aware of some essential information regarding its consumption. Listril Plus drug can result in severe complications if you are allergic to it. Thus ensure that you are not allergic to any ACE inhibitors before you start Listril Plus. It should not be consumed by patients who have angioedema or pregnant women.

How To Take

Take Listril Plus in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Listril Plus may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Warning

Avoid taking hydrochlorothiazide at bedtime because it makes you urinate more often.

Consult your doctor if you experience dryness of mouth, thirst, weakness, lethargy, drowsiness, restlessness, confusion, muscle pains or cramps.

Do not chew, divide or crush the tablets.

Do not drive or operate machinery.

Drink adequate amount of liquid to avoid becoming dehydrated or overheated.

Have renal impairment, hypovolaemia, hyperkalaemia, collagen vascular disease, valvular stenosis, unilateral renal artery stenosis.

Pregnant, planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding.

Swallow whole tablet with water.

Uses

Listril Plus is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Frequent monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes level is necessary during treatment with Listril Plus.
