Kenadion Injection is used for Obstructive jaundice, Blood clotting problems, Anticoagulants overdose, Liver diseases, Vitamin k deficiency, Dietary deficiency and other conditions.

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin, which is actually a group of compounds, main compounds are vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 (menaquinone). Vitamin K is used to recover Vitamin K deficiency. Vitamin K deficiency are very common in newborn infants.

Swelling of face or lips

Dizziness

Warning

Kenadion 10 Mg injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Kenadion 10 Mg injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.

Do not take anticoagulants (‘blood thinners’) such as warfarin (Coumadin) while you are taking phytonadione unless told to do so by your doctor, If you are taking orlistat (Xenical), take it 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking vitamin K.

Too much vitamin K can be harmful if you are receiving dialysis treatments due to kidney disease.
