Hiflo 100 Rotacap is widely used for treating asthma. It may be used in combination with other long-term medicines. It is also used for preventing breathing problems caused by exercise. It is also used for long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Hiflo 100 Rotacap is a long-acting beta-agonist bronchodilator. It widens the airways in the lungs which in turn helps you breathe more easily.

How To Take

Hiflo 100 Rotacap must not be swallowed. Check the label for directions before use. Place the capsule at the base of rotahaler, not in the mouthpiece. Twist the mouthpiece completely until your hear a click and breathe in deeply through the mouthpiece. Hold your breath for up to 10 seconds. If some powder remains in the rotahaler repeat the process.

Breast-feeding :- Hiflo 100 Rotacap is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary since it may affect the development of the infant’s joints. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine. If the medicine is used, the infant should be monitored closely for any adverse effects such as diarrhea or diaper rash.

Tendinitis and Tendon ruputure :- Use of Hiflo 100 Rotacap will increase the risk of developing tendinitis or tendon rupture during the treatment or several months after the treatment. This may affect your shoulders, hands, ankles, or other parts of your body. You are at a higher risk if you are more than 60 years of age or if you have undergone a transplant of kidney, heart, or lung. You are also at a higher risk if you are on corticosteroids like dexamethasone, methylprednisolone, or prednisone. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Drug-resistance :-Usage of Hiflo 100 Rotacap without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection should be avoided. Irrational dosing might fail in providing benefits and may even cause toxicity. It may also increase the risk of development of bacteria that are drug resistant.
