How To Take

Side Effects

Dry skin, dry eyes

Chapped lips

Dry nose that may lead to nosebleeds

Birth defects (deformed babies), loss of a baby before birth (miscarriage), death of the baby, and early (premature) births

Serious mental health problems

Depression, psychosis (seeing or hearing things that are not real)

Suicidal thoughts

Sleep too much or have trouble sleeping

Become more irritable, angry, or aggressive than usual (for example, temper outbursts, thoughts of violence)

Increased brain pressure marked by bad headache, blurred vision, dizziness, nausea or vomiting

Warning

Pregnancy = Use of Glotret 10 Mg by women are pregnant or suspecting a pregnancy is not recommended. It is advised to take extra precautionary measures and avoid intended/unintended pregnancy while using this medicine.

Breast-feeding = Use of Glotret 10 Mg by women who are breastfeeding is not recommended. Your doctor may prescribe suitable alternatives after assessing your condition.

Exposure to sun = Use of Glotret 10 Mg can cause adverse reactions of the skin on sun exposure. You should either avoid stepping out at daytime or take appropriate precautionary measures.

Other skin creams = Glotret 10 Mg may interact with other skin care or medicinal products. Consult your doctor before starting the use of other products along with this medicine.

Contraception = Appropriate means of birth control should be adopted while using this medicine. It can cause oral/hormonal contraception failure and hence use of multiple contraception is advised. Contact your doctor immediately if you suspect a pregnancy while using this medicine.

Donation of blood = It is advised to refrain from donating blood for 1 month after stopping the use of this medicine.

Depresseion = Use of Glotret 10 Mg has been known to cause varying levels of depression in different people. Report any current/past incidences of depression, agitation, anxiety, or other psychotic disorders to the doctor.

Hearing impairment = Use of this medicine has been associated with hearing impairment which may persist even after the use is discontinued.

Uses

This Glotret 10 Mg is used to treat severe cystic acne (also known as nodular acne) that has not responded to other treatment (e.g., benzoyl peroxide or clindamycin applied to the skin or tetracycline or minocycline taken by mouth). It belongs to a class of drugs known as retinoids.
