Foracort Forte Inhaler is widely used for treating asthma. It may be used in combination with other long-term medicines. It is also used for preventing breathing problems caused by exercise. It is also used for long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Foracort Forte Inhaleris a long-acting beta-agonist bronchodilator. It widens the airways in the lungs which in turn helps you breathe more easily.

Strength = 120 Mcg + 400 Mcg

How to Take

Check the label for directions before use. Shake the inhaler. While you are breathing in from mouth, press down on the inhaler one time to release Foracort Forte Inhaler medicine  and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as suggested by the doctor.Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out.

Foracort Forte Inhaler may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Foracort Forte Inhaler is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Uses

Foracort Forte Inhaler is used in Asthma is a chronic disease that causes inflammation and narrowing of the air passage of the lungs (bronchi) obstructing the airflow and making breathing difficult.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic lung disorder in which there is difficulty in emptying air out of the lungs (airflow obstruction). Due to this obstruction, patients experience difficulty in breathing or get tired easily because of this breathing strain. COPD is a general term used for chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or a combination of both.
