Korandil 5 Mg Tablet is used to prevent or reduce the pain and strain on the heart caused by certain cardiovascular disorders. It is used in patients who cannot take certain other cardiovascular drugs called beta-blockers. It is also used for patients in whom the pain is not adequately controlled by other agents. This medicine is not recommended for use in children.

Korandil 5 Mg Tablet is a medicine used for treatment and prevention of angina (heart related chest pain) due to narrowing of blood vessels. It reduces the workload of the heart and risk of future heart attack. This medicine should be used along with lifestyle changes like healthy diet, regular exercise and smoking cessation for best results.

It is generally used in patients who remain symptomatic despite treatment with other medicines or cannot tolerate them. It should not be stopped abruptly. Dizziness and headache may be seen as side effects initially, which improve with time.

How To Take

Take Korandil 5 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Korandil 5 Mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Korandil 5 Mg may cause ulcerations in different locations, including skin, conjunctiva, cornea, and the gastrointestinal tract. Therapy with Korandil 5 Mg Tablet should be discontinued if the ulcerations are persistent and refractory to treatment.
