Suminat 50 Mg Tablet is a synthetic medication belonging to the thetriptan class of drugs. It is used for treating cluster headaches and migraine. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the brain which relieves headaches.

Do not have this medicine if you are allergic to it, if you have a history of heart problems, a blood vessel disease, high blood pressure or liver problems. Ask your doctor this medicine is safe for you if you have a history of kidney problems, seizures, breathing problems high cholesterol, diabetes or obesity. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and if you are taking other medications.

How To Take

Take Suminat 50 Mg Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Suminat 50 Mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

High cholesterol:-Suminat 50 Mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with a known history of high cholesterol levels due to the increased risk of cardiovascular side effects.

Seizure disorder:-Suminat 50 Mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with a known history of seizure disorder due to the increased risk of worsening of the seizures.

Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome:-Suminat 50 Mg Tablet is not recommended for use in patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome or arrhythmias due to the increased risk of life-threatening disturbances of the cardiac rhythm.
