Repace 100 Mg helps reduce high blood pressure, thus lowering the chances of any future heart attack and stroke. It may also be used to improve the symptoms of chronic (long standing) heart failure. It helps to preserve kidney function, especially in patients with diabetes. This medicine may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It is taken by mouth (orally), with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Side effects are few and uncommon with this medicine. However, dizziness may occur due to low blood pressure, particularly after the first dose.

How To Take

Take Repace 100 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Repace 100 Mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Warning

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of blood vessel problems, poor blood circulation, fluid retention, heart, liver or kidney problems, diabetes, stroke, recent heart attack, electrolyte problem, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.

Avoid alcohol consumption.

Patient may develop with increased risk of angioedema with swelling of the hands, face, lips, eyes throat, or tongue; difficulty in swallowing or breathing; or hoarseness. If it is so consult with your doctor.

It should not be used in children less than 6 years old.

Monitor blood pressure, blood electrolyte levels, and heart, kidney, or liver function regularly while taking this medication.

Uses

Repace 100 Mg is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and other heart complications. You are advised to take this medicine with a proper diet and regular exercise regimen for an optimal control of the blood pressure. This medicine is not recommended for use in children less than 6 years of age.
