Rapacan 2 Mg is an immunosuppressant medicine used along with other medicines to prevent the body from rejecting a kidney transplant. This medicine is not recommended for use in children less than 13 years of age.

How to Take

Take Rapacan 2 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rapacan 2 Mg may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Hypersensitivity

Unusual bleeding or bruising

Cough

Cracked or scaly skin

Abdominal and stomach pain

Constipation or diarrhea

Nausea

Upper respiratory tract infection

Urinary tract infection

Difficulty in breathing

Jaundice

Tinnitus

Nervousness and confusion

Warning

Rapacan 2 Mg is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. Discuss all the risks and benefits with your doctor before taking this medicine.

Rapacan 2 Mg is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. The risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

Rapacan 2 Mg is not recommended for use in children less than 13 years of age.

Rapacan 2 Mg may cause an increase in blood pressure. Close monitoring of blood pressure is necessary during treatment with this medicine.

Women of childbearing age are advised to use effective contraception prior to, during, and for 12 weeks following treatment with this medicine to avoid pregnancy. This medicine may cause serious side effects in the fetus.

Uses

Rapacan 2 Mg is used to prevent the rejection of an organ transplant.

Rapacan 2 Mg is used in the treatment of Pulmonarylymphangioleiomyomatosis, a condition which affects the lungs of especially women of childbearing ages, leading to progressive lung dysfunction.
