Lescol 80 Mg is used to reduce the levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. It is also used to prevent long-term cardiovascular risks such as strokes and heart attacks. Patients are advised to follow a strict diet and exercise regimen along with this medicine for the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in children under 10 years of age.

How to Take

Lescol 80 Mg is not recommended for use in pregnant women.

Lescol 80 Mg is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

Lescol 80 Mg may cause forgetfulness, memory loss, and confusion. Any such symptoms should be reported to the doctor immediately and therapy should be discontinued under your doctor’s supervision. These symptoms usually go away once therapy with the medicine is discontinued.

Lescol 80 Mg may cause an increase in the blood glucose levels. This risk is especially higher in patients with diabetes. Close monitoring of blood glucose is recommended in patients receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments in either Lescol 80 Mgor the anti-diabetic medicines should be done based on the patient’s clinical condition.

Lescol 80 Mg used to reduce high levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. It also increases the blood levels of HDL.

Lescol 80 Mg is used for prevention of stroke and heart attacks in patients with underlying conditions such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, coronary heart disease, etc. It is also used in patients who are exposed to multiple risk factors such as smoking, age, family history, etc.
