Amaryl 2 Mg
Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet is a long-acting oral anti-diabetic which lower the blood sugar level. Amaryl 2 Mg is used only in patients diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. It may be used along with Insulin or other medicines in order to achieve better control over the blood sugar levels. Amaryl 2 Mg medicine, when taken along with a controlled diet and regular exercise routine, may give better results.

How To Take
Take Amaryl 2 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking glimepiride and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Take Amaryl 2 Mg by mouth with breakfast or the first main meal of the day, as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Use Amaryl 2 Mg regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day.
To reduce your risk of side effects, your doctor may direct you to start Amaryl 2 Mg medicine at a low dose and gradually increase your dose. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet. Alcohol intake may increase or decrease the blood sugar lowering action in an unpredictable way.
Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Amaryl 2 Mg benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Monitoring of the breastfed infant’s blood glucose is advisable during maternal therapy with Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. These patients can experience very low blood sugar levels which may become normal after a long time.
Amaryl 2 Mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amaryl 2 MgTablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
