Thalix 50 Mg, is essentially an immunomodulatory drug. It is used to treat multiple myeloma and skin inflammation in leprosy. In the case of cancer patients, it has been to increase certain substances that kill cancer cells.

Thalix 50 Mg should strictly not be used by pregnant women or those who could become pregnant. Thalix 50 Mg passes into the semen, and hence men taking it should avoid sexual contact with women who are pregnant or can become pregnant. Effective birth control measures must be used. The risk for blood clots increases if combined with dexamethasone. Do not take it if you take sodium oxybate.

How To Take

Take Thalix 50 Mg in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Thalix 50 Mg is to be taken empty stomach.

Pregnancy:- This Thalix 50 Mg is not recommended for use in pregnant women due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects on the unborn baby including the absence of arms and legs.

Breast-feeding:- Thalix 50 Mg is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding for a specific period of time or prescribe an alternative medicine based on your clinical condition.

Driving or operating machinery:- Thalix 50 Mg may cause symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, tiredness, muscle weakness, etc. in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Heart Attack:- Thalix 50 Mg should be used with extreme caution due to an increase in the risk of a heart attack. This risk is especially higher in patients with known risk factors of a heart attack. Close monitoring of heart function and vital signs is recommended for such patients. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Thalix 50 Mg is used to treat Multiple myeloma (MM) in combination with the medicine, dexamethasone Moderate to severe new lesions of leprosy As maintenance treatment to prevent and keep the skin lesions of leprosy from coming back (recurring).
