Tretizen 20 Mg Capsule belongs to a category of chemical compounds called retinoid. This medication helps in the treatment of cystic acne or nodular acne that has previously not responded to any other kinds of treatment. It lowers the production of facial oil and prevents hardening of the skin. If acne is not properly treated it can cause permanent scarring.

How To Take
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tretizen 20 Mg Capsule is to be taken with food.

Pregnancy = Use of Tretizen 20 Mg by women are pregnant or suspecting a pregnancy is not recommended. It is advised to take extra precautionary measures and avoid intended/unintended pregnancy while using this medicine.
Breast-feeding = Use of Tretizen 20 Mg by women who are breastfeeding is not recommended. Your doctor may prescribe suitable alternatives after assessing your condition.
Exposure to sun = Use of Tretizen 20 Mg can cause adverse reactions of the skin on sun exposure. You should either avoid stepping out at daytime or take appropriate precautionary measures.
Other skin creams = Tretizen 20 Mg may interact with other skin care or medicinal products. Consult your doctor before starting the use of other products along with this medicine.
Contraception = Appropriate means of birth control should be adopted while using this medicine. It can cause oral/hormonal contraception failure and hence use of multiple contraception is advised. Contact your doctor immediately if you suspect a pregnancy while using this medicine.
