Tiniba 500 Mg is used in the treatment of trichomoniasis which is a sexually transmitted disease caused by Trichomonasvaginalis.
The dosage of the antibiotic will depend on your health and the severity of the infection. Dosage may be increased if your body accepts the medication and reacts positively to it. In case of children the dosage prescribed is determined according to their weight.
Some types of infections of the vagina, such as bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis, are cured with the help of Tiniba 500 Mg Tablet. Some types of infections caused by parasites like amebiasis and giardiasis can also be treated with Tiniba 500 Mg Tablet. The medicine prevents the multiplication of parasites as well as bacteria. The antibiotic does not cure all types of infections caused by bacteria or parasites. Tiniba 500 Mg does not cure viral infections as well.

How to take
Take Tiniba 500 Mg medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tiniba 500 Mg is to be taken with food.

Pregnancy = Tiniba 500 Mg medicine is not recommended in the first trimester of pregnancy. Tiniba 500 Mg can be used in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy only if clearly needed.
Breast-feeding = Tiniba 500 Mg medicine is known to excreted through the breastmilk. The child should not breastfeed while taking Tiniba 500 Mg medicine and for at least 3 days after the last dose.
Blood cell count = Tiniba 500 Mg medicine may lower the blood cell count and may lead to leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, and bone marrow aplasia.
Tiniba 500 Mg is used in the amebiasis which is a parasitic infection that affects the intestine and amebic liver abscess caused by Entamoebahistolytica.Tiniba 500 Mg Tablet is used in the treatment of overgrowth of bacteria in the vagina caused by Lactobacillus species.
