Syncapone 150 Mg
Syncapone 150 Mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. These symptoms may include muscle stiffness, tremors, muscle spasms, poor muscle control, slowness of movement, etc. It may also be used to replace therapy with other medicines (carbidopa and levodopa combinations) if the patient is experiencing wearing-off symptoms. Syncapone 150 Mg Tablet is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.
There are two types of responses seen with the administration of Syncapone 150 Mg Tablet: The short-duration response which is related to the half-life of the drug. The long-duration response depends directly on the accumulation of effects over at least a two week course, during accumulates in nigrostriatal neurons. When used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, this response is seen only in early therapy, as at that stage the inability of the brain to store dopamine is not yet a concern.

How To Take
Take Syncapone 150 Mg Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Syncapone 150 Mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Syncapone 150 Mg Tablet with high protein meals such as cottage cheese, Swiss cheese, protein powder, eggs and milk.

Syncapone 150 Mg should be used with caution due to the increased risk of side effects such as dizziness, fainting, drowsiness, etc. This may cause you to fall asleep during your day-to-day activities. Hence, it is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery while taking this medicine.
Syncapone 150 Mg should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function tests, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Syncapone 150 Mg should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from hypotension (low blood pressure) or patients receiving antihypertensive medications (high blood pressure medicines) due to the increased risk of a very low blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is recommended for such patients. Report any symptoms such as lightheadedness, fainting, dizziness, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Syncapone 150 Mg is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.
